FAQ
Do you shoot destination weddings?
Of course, I love to see new locations and get to travel a bit at the same time. I would normally like to see the location first so I can get some Ideas for where I can capture those winning shots.
Do you take group shots?
I do, before each of my wedding shoots, I like the couple to give me a full list of all the group shots they would like e.g. Family or Friends. Having this list means I can get through the group shots nice and quick so you can get back to enjoying your day and I can continue getting those magical photos of your big day.
How many photos do I get?
I aim to get from 300-400 high quality images, after editing. I would like to think that my clients would rather have 300 amazing high quality photos rather than 800 pointless photos which will never be looked at again.
What kind of gear do you use?
I shoot on two Sony A7iii's and use a range of lenses to get the best photos. I’ve always used Canon going back to when I first started photography. I use a 85mm, 1.8 canon lens to give spectacular clear images with a real depth of field. I also use a 55mm and a 27-120 depending on the area and light. As much as I hate flash photography I do use a flash gun in the evening when there isn’t that much natural light to help enhance images.
Do I have to order prints through you?
Once clients have been sent their log in they can order print's by clicking and choosing size and how many. These will then be printed and sent out by first class post.
Are you expensive?
I am competitively priced, my prices reflect the quality of my work and the bespoke package I tailor make for you. You’re wedding is going to be one of the best days of your life and you will want the best quality images that you can cherish and revisit time and time again.
When will I receive my amazing images
I normally take around 4000-6000 images and have to go through each one, cut through bad images and edit them to make them perfect. Due to this it can become quite time consuming. I aim to get the photos to you between 4-5 weeks after the wedding. I know you will be wanting a couple so I will normally send you 2-3 in the first week or two just to tide you over until the rest come through. After they have all been edited and checked I will send you the log in so you can view them all in high resolution and download them through your personal, bespoke online gallery. After editing you should receive 400-600 amazing images in colour and black & white.
What happens if your ill or can't make it ?
I work with a lot of other wedding photographers that would be able to step in and would have a very similar style to me. If you didn't want to go with the photographer you will be able to get a full refund. As I grew up in Cornwall on a muddy dairy farm I have a pretty good immune system so you shouldn't have anything to worry about.
