Laura & Tony’s Laid Back Cotswold Wedding at Old Gore Barn

From the moment I met Laura & Tony over a pint in a Bristol bar, I knew their wedding was going to be something special. These two are full of life, never take themselves too seriously, and were all about having a day that felt relaxed, fun, and totally them. No faff, no fuss, just a celebration surrounded by the people (and dog) they love.

Morning Vibes at Bibury Farm Barns

The day kicked off at the beautiful Bibury Farm Barns, tucked away in the heart of the Cotswolds. With a buzzing energy in the air, their getting ready morning was packed with laughter, champagne, and the kind of chaos you only get when all your favourite people are under one roof. It was the perfect start to a day that felt more like a festival than a formal affair.

A Ceremony Full of Character at Old Gore Barn

Old Gore Barn by Yard Space is hands down one of my favourite venues and not just because I’ve been lucky enough to photograph over 15 weddings there. It’s rustic, full of character, and built for couples who want a party, not a production.

Set in the Cotswold countryside, this converted barn is known for its laid back charm, wood-fired feasting, and wild outdoor spaces perfect for golden hour portraits and mingling guests. The team there genuinely care about creating an unforgettable experience, and the food? Honestly, unreal. If you’ve booked Old Gore, get yourself to one of their Feast Nights, you’ll thank me later.

Laura & Tony’s ceremony, led by the brilliant Olivia Coleman (not that Olivia Colman), was heartfelt and full of laughter. But the real star of the show? Their family dog, who doubled as the ring bearer and melted everyone’s hearts.

A Proper Party

Post ceremony, it was full throttle into the good times: confetti, champagne sprays, mini golf on the lawn, and ice cream for everyone. The energy was electric. And when Jukebox kicked off the evening tunes, the dance floor filled fast and stayed that way well into the night.

This wedding was the perfect example of what I love to photograph: relaxed, joyful days with people who just want to have a great time. No stiff posing, no disappearing for hours, just real moments, captured as they happen.

Scroll through the photos below to see more of Laura & Tony’s beautiful day. If you’re planning your own countryside wedding and want your photos to feel like you (not like a Pinterest board), then let’s chat. You can ask me anything, no stupid questions, I promise.
